About James

Without ever hitting the big time, James racked up quite a musical CV. His performance experience included touring as support for original Popstars runners-up Liberty X (band member Kevin is James' former bandmate), stints as a session singer as well as regularly performing in clubs, pubs and school bands, and even entertaining British troops in Bosnia and The Falklands.

His musical journey started in early childhood - he started learning the piano at the age of seven and is now proficient on drums, guitar and piano. Other non-musical passions include snooker and Cardiff City Football Club.

James Fox first shot to stardom on BBC One’'s ‘Fame Academy’ back in 2003 where he was recognised for his exceptional musical talent, drop dead gorgeous looks and dry wit. His popularity has soared even further since winning the public’s vote on BBC One’s ‘Making Your Mind Up’ to become the UK entry at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

James' motivation for entering the Fame Academy was his dream to release an album of his own material. He did just that. Rocking Chairs and Lemonade was released in ..... and he is now busy writing material for his second album.
