James Entertaining The Troops

James has been a favourite entertainer with the British Forces for a number of years, something he was proudly involved in well before he entered the public eye in Fame Academy. Over the past few years, he has entertained the troops on around 20 CSE tours on bases around the world. This includes Kosovo, Cyprus, The Falklands, and warzones Iraq and Afghanistan. It was his trip to Iraq, and the several he’s made to Afghanistan, that James has found the most rewarding and inspired him to write So Far Away From Home, a track on his debut album Rocking Chairs and Lemonade. His work with the CSE, has twice earned him an invitation to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in both 2004 and 2006.
